Vineyards

Tallavera Grove is one of four premium vineyards owned by the Davis family of Mount View. The other vineyards are in cool climate areas of Coonawarra, Wrattonbully and Orange.

Our Hunter Valley vineyard, Tallavera Grove, specializes in the traditional local varieties of Semillon, Verdelho, Chardonnay and Shiraz while our Coonawarra vineyard provides us with Cabernet and Merlot for which the area has long been famous.

Orange and Wrattonbully are newer areas and have been producing wines for less than 30 years. Both are cool climate areas which have already shown great promise. Wrattonbully produces red wines of enormous power and intensity from Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot and Tannat as well as full flavoured whites from Chardonnay and Viognier. The varieties being grown on our Orange vineyard are Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet, Merlot and Zinfandel.
